Electrical Engineering Technology

This program delivers the hands-on training you need to design, develop and integrate electronic and power systems into a variety of industries. Choose the co-op option to build practical field experience.

Humber’s electrical engineering technology advanced diploma has been designed in collaboration with an industry advisory panel ensuring you receive the highest quality education. It will prepare you to manage electrical energy from both renewable and conventional sources and gain the skills necessary to design, develop and maintain a range of industrial, power, and communication systems. You’ll also learn to write specifications, schedules, budgets and technical reports. You can find employment in a number of different industries including electrical utilities, oil and gas, electrical and electronics manufacturing, transportation, and construction.

Mechanical Engineering Technology

This is an applied research program that includes both indoor and outdoor lab-based learning. A full driver’s license is recommended as many of the co-op work terms and graduate employment opportunities will require you to drive to construction sites that are not accessible by public transportation. Upon completion, graduates are eligible to become certified engineering technologists (CET).

Environmental Engineering Technology

RRC Polytech’s Environmental Engineering Technology program provides the academic knowledge and technical skills to advance real-world projects in water treatment, contaminant hydrogeology, solid waste management, and environmental data analysis.
